1. ACCEPTANCE OF MEMBERSHIP TERMS
These Membership Terms and Conditions (“Membership Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you (“Member” or “you”) and Ascend Fundraising Solutions (“Ascend,” “we,” “us”) governing the Unity Sweepstakes Membership program (the “Membership Program”) and your individual enrollment in it (your “Membership”).
By enrolling in the Membership, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and accept these Membership Terms, as well as the Unity Sweepstakes Official Rules, Membership FAQs, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Governing Documents”), which are expressly incorporated herein by reference. These Membership Terms supplement and do not replace the Governing Documents.
If you do not agree to these Membership Terms, you must not enroll in the Membership Program.
2. AMENDMENT OF MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Ascend reserves the right to modify these Membership Terms from time to time in its sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated to you in advance. Continued participation in the Membership after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Membership Terms. If you do not agree to any change, you may cancel your Membership at any time in accordance with Section 8.
3. NATURE OF MEMBERSHIP
The Membership Program is an optional convenience feature that allows you to pre-register ticket order preferences for future draws in the Unity Sweepstakes. By enrolling, you create your individual Membership and authorize Ascend to automatically issue tickets for each scheduled sweepstakes draw based on your selected preferences, subject to successful payment processing until your Membership is cancelled (Section 8) or terminated (Section 9).
Membership does not alter the odds or rules of any Sweepstakes. Each ticket purchased through Membership is governed by the applicable Sweepstakes Official Rules, these Membership Terms, and all applicable laws and requirements. Participation in the Membership Program and ticket availability are subject to compliance with these rules and system availability. Membership does not guarantee ticket issuance in the event of regulatory restrictions, system outages, or other operational limitations. If a ticket or entry is not issued and you have been charged, please contact customer support.
3b. Bonus Prize Combination
When you make your first purchase into the Unity Sweepstakes and enroll into the Unity Membership program, you will be asked to select a sequence of 5 switches (a “Combination”) for a chance to win a Bonus Prize. For each of the 5 switches, you choose one of two options: is the switch position up or down. Your Combination is your personal attempt to match the weekly randomly generated (“RNG”) vault pattern switch combination to win the Bonus Prize if you are the Main Prize winner (see Prize section).
The Combination that the Member chooses will be used for all future Sweepstakes campaigns. If a Member would like to change their 5-switch selection for a future Sweepstakes campaign, they will need to cancel their membership and re-enroll online at unitysweepstakes.ca.
4. ELIGIBILITY
Participating in the Membership Program is available only to individuals who meet all eligibility criteria set out in the applicable Sweepstakes Official Rules. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before enrolling in the Membership Program. Refunds will not be provided.
By enrolling, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance. Membership is void where prohibited by law. AUTHORIZATION FOR RE-OCCURING CHARGES
Your Membership begins on the date you enroll and continues on an ongoing basis until cancelled under Section 8 or terminated under Section 9. Each billing cycle corresponds to a scheduled Unity Sweepstakes draw (currently weekly). There is no separate membership fee; you will only be charged for the ticket packages you select.
By enrolling, you provide express consent for Ascend to charge your designated payment method for your selected ticket package at the start of each scheduled draw. Accepted payment methods currently include Visa and Mastercard only; American Express is not accepted. Where available, Apple Pay may be used, although certain information such as your phone number may not be captured when using this method. It is your responsibility to ensure your account and contact information remain accurate and up to date.
